Kurtas were you tired Monday morning from me waking you up? Sorry but I had to tell you. I actually almost called you on accident and then I was like, damn it he's in Japan so Skyping you was the next best thing.
Those Karaoke boxes, is it really like a hotel, where there are like literally hundreds of "boxes" or are there just like ten in an old house or something? Also you mentioned that you are 45 minutes from Tokyo, how many miles is it? I saw on yahoo I think the other week that the average person travels like 3 miles an hour because traffic is ridiculous and such. So does it take you 45 minutes to go 10 miles or what? At their cookouts do they do stuff like we do? ie bean bags, sit outside in lawn chairs, have campfires...
Your hair looks long again. Are you going to get a haircut there before you come back? Are all haircuts there basically the same, or are there as many crazy styles as there are here? How much do haircuts cost? Or do you know? I don't want to underestimate your omniscience, but I can't see why you would know how much a haircut costs if you haven't gone to get one...
I love your pictures and the videos. I hope all is well! It looks and sounds as if you are expiriencing Japan to the fullest! I think that you should get a japanese haircut! I like to use exclamation points!
This profile is a little out-dated.
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati. I did have a co-op in Japan. The main purpose of my blog is to let people know how I'm doing. Maybe Frommer's will see this and hire me to do this all over the world...
Disclaimer: The views in this blog are the author's alone and do not express the views of the University of Cincinnati or his employer. Nor are they meant to disrespect the Japanese in any way. They are merely his views of what is happening.
If you expect hateful statements, you will be severely disappointed because I rather like Japan.
