I'm at work right now. Just to let you know, I'm working the phones for the first time today... and I'm miserable. Either the call is about "too many symbolic links" and I have to spend 15 minutes on the phone before I realize it's a problem for the sys admins, or the teacher wastes more time telling her kids to turn down the tv than listening to me explain to her that @ucmail.uc.edu is DIFFERENT from @uc.edu. At least the job is interesting, though, it beats making food for people. I'm getting 25 hours next week so I can't complain. There's a nice giant 5 hour block next Thursday from 4-9 where I'm working by myself though... I don't know if I'll be able to handle it. It'll be an experience. How's Thursday? We're still in Wednesday here, but if Thursday blows, let me know so I don't have to wake up.
Make sure you have your traveler's money belt on you at all times. Frommer's says if you have one of these, no-one can rob you of anything. Except your dignity, of course...

I graduated from the University of Cincinnati. I did have a co-op in Japan. The main purpose of my blog is to let people know how I'm doing. Maybe Frommer's will see this and hire me to do this all over the world...
